Panther Electrical Philippines is now offering uninterruptible power supplies in the market, available at 1500VA and 3000VA runs at 220 Volts AC. It has three UPS outlets and three extension outlets. It has also a built-in AVR that stabilizes and maintains the input voltage.
An uninterruptible power supply a.k.a. UPS is an electrical apparatus that provides emergency power to a load when the input power source, or the main electrical source from wall sockets fails. It is not the same as that of emergency power system, or standby generator. The electrical energy that the UPS will supply is from or stored in batteries, supercapacitors or flywheels.
UPS is typically used to protect electrical hardware like computers, data centers, telecommunication equipment where an unexpected power disruption could cause injuries, fatalities, serious business problems and data loss.
Why we need UPS?
The role of UPS is to provide short-term power when main power was interrupted and fails. UPS will supply the needed electrical energy for the device to run for a few more minutes for us to save the files and to shut down the machine properly. Aside from that, UPS units are also capable of correcting common utility power problems such as:
- Voltage spike
- Momentary reduction in input voltage
- Noise or oscillation
- Instability of the main’s frequency
- Harmonic distortion
- Other electronic disturbances
Benefits of UPS
Here are some of uninterruptible power supply benefits:
- Data loss protection
- Emergency power supply
- Protection for voltage sensitive devices from bad electricity
- Surge protection
- Maintains battery life
- Provides huge power back in industries

(mga) komentoIt is a good thing that my computer is equipped with a reliable UPS. These benefits are something to get by. I do hope the following advantages are included with my purchased uninterruptible power supply in the Philippines.
ReplyCouldn't agree more about the need of a UPS, you can follow back my blog at gamesperience.wordpress.com which tackles the same topic
ReplyI also bought a UPS from Panther Electrical.
